In December of 2019, MUMFC gained promotion into the newly setup NPL Women's league however we also have teams in both the Amateur and Metropolitan leagurs.
Our affiliation with Murdoch University has meant we now have access to their incredible synthetic turfs. This will help with our ambition to maintain a fun, competitive environment for all female players who come to our club.
Participation and mateship, genuine endeavour and role modelling through senior players, will bring out the best qualities in you. By providing a host of opportunities and pathways for girls and women in football, Melville hopes to enhance your football experience and the values that team sport offers for a healthy life experience. We hope that this will encourage club loyalty and provide a great environment for your whole family to be a part of.
- All players receive socks(every year) and shorts (every second year) to keep.
- Shirts are provided and should be handed back to your team manager at the end of the season.
- Games are played on Sundays but times can vary.
- Once registered, your contact information is sent to the relevant coach who will contact you regarding training times.

This league caters for women over the age of 14 looking to progress their skills in a competitive environment.
This league caters for women over the age of 14 of all skill levels. From the social player to the seasoned soccer player looking to improve their skills all are welcome to come have a go.
We will conduct a series of female specific open preseason sessions for these teams. These are designed specifically for players to play and have fun, meet new team mates and find out what level of play you are interested in playing at for the next season.
MUMFC supports players, team managers and coaches with training and match day gear, management resources such as manuals, jackets and polo tops, regular communications with club coordinators to have your opinions heard, off site and in house upskilling and accreditation, working with children qualifications.
